ABOUT ME:
Fitness has always played an enormous role in my life. Growing up, I had always participated in sports, primarily basketball and soccer. I coached basketball at a summer camp and later for my hometown Middle School Girls’ basketball team.
At 22, I attended and graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy as a member of the 26th Basic Law Enforcement Training Program. I worked in Law Enforcement for six years, just over three years as a patrol officer, and under three years as a Special Agent for the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. During my time as a law enforcement officer, I taught weekly HIIT classes for the city employees, received Officer of the Year for my dedication to fitness, and obtained a Law Enforcement Fitness Specialist Certification from the Cooper Institute.
Through Law Enforcement, fitness altered my entire life in the most positive way. I grew to love strength training and nutrition so much that I realized it was something I could no longer do only part-time. I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to bring that same positive change to others. I moved from Northern Maine to Massachusetts to pursue a career in the personal training industry, and the rest is history. I am so grateful to be part of the Fitness Within Team, and I can’t wait to bring the changes fitness has made in my to others.
PHILOSOPHY:
You are your only limit.
